Chris Bronkhorst boasts a wealth of experience within the steel fabrication industry. Holding qualifications as a skilled boilermaker and achieving his red seal certification in 1985, his professional journey took an unforeseen turn due to a work-related incident that led to his medical boarding. It was through this adversity that Chris’s entrepreneurial spirit came to the forefront, driving him to establish his own enterprise in 2006. His profound knowledge and expertise have significantly contributed to the growth and triumph of Rhino Expandable Security Doors.

Functioning as the company’s CEO, Chris Bronkhorst strategically employs his extensive insights in the steel fabrication sector to meticulously create each product showcased on our website. Complementing Chris’s technical prowess, Hester Bronkhorst occupies an integral role as the backbone of Rhino Doors. Responsible for a spectrum of functions encompassing administration and supplier relationships, she has garnered respect and familiarity within the industry’s prominent circles. She also came up with the well-known slogan of Rhino Doors: Nothing is too big or too small for us.

From 2006 to 2021, Rhino Doors operated from the residence of the CEO and his wife, a period marked by steady and deliberate expansion.

The remarkable growth of Rhino Doors reached an all-time high in January 2022, compelling a transition to an independent workshop located in Meyerton. Concurrent with this transformation, Hester Bronkhorst entrusted the reins to Celesté Bam, their daughter, who assumed the responsibilities of administrative and financial management. Drawing from an extensive skill set in business and marketing, Celesté holds a General BCom Degree in Business Management, in addition to a Higher Certificate in Business Management and an Advanced Certificate in Management Practices.
